The Government supports this recommendation in full and has published its response to all the recommendations in the Strategy.

<p>Options should include:</p>
<ol style="list-style-type: lower-alpha;">
<li>A ban on products that are hard to recycle.</li>
<li>The development of options to incentivise greater product stewardship.</li>
<li>Increasing waste-disposal levies sustainably while managing, monitoring and funding enforcement to minimise illegal dumping.</li>
</ol>
<p>The prioritisation of these options should be guided by cost-benefit analyses.</p>
